Frequently Asked Questions

Can I fail a Flight Review

No.  While the review is, in fact, an evaluation, there is no record or logbook entry made for unsatisfactory performance.

Is this different than a Biennial Flight Review (BFR)

This flight review replaces what what was formerly know as the BFR.  The content covers the same areas as you will be familiar with.

Who needs a flight review?

Every pilot must accomplish the requirements of the Flight Review, as shown in FAR 61.56, at least every 24 calendar months in order to act as Pilot in Command. Many General Aviation pilots accomplish the Flight Review by receiving ground and flight instruction with a competent CFI, and gain valuable knowledge and recurrent training every 24 months.

Great Flight Review Info

I liked the format and presentation of the ground portion of my flight review. I would recommend this to any pilot needing this ground training...well worth the time.
