Pilot Proficient’s Flight Review Course satisfies the requirement of 14 CFR 61.56 for Ground Instruction toward your review (formerly known as the Biennial flight review “BFR”). We’ll cover several areas with video and multimedia presentations in order to help you remain a competent, safe and proficient pilot.

Completion of the course, including passing all quizzes with a score of 80% or better will satisfy the ground instruction requirement of 14 CFR 61.56, and you’ll receive a signed logbook endorsement from a Certified Flight Instructor attesting to the instruction you have received.
NOTE: Acceptance of this course as the ground portion of your review should be verified with your CFI in advance.

Can I fail a Flight Review?
No. While the review is, in fact, an evaluation, there is no record or logbook entry made for unsatisfactory performance.
Is this different than a Biennial Flight Review (BFR)
This course replaces what what was formerly know as the BFR. The content covers the same areas as you will be familiar with.
Who needs a flight review?
With limited exceptions, every pilot must accomplish the requirements of the Flight Review, as shown in FAR 61.56, at least every 24 calendar months in order to act as Pilot in Command. Many General Aviation pilots accomplish this review by receiving ground and flight instruction with a competent CFI, and gain valuable knowledge and recurrent training every 24 months.
